PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL (PPC)

The Parish Pastoral Council is formulated according to diocesan guidelines. Primarily it exists to gather together the various strands of Parish life, to encourage the groups that already exist and to develop the structures that we will need in the future.

The purpose of the Council is defined as: to enable the members of the Parish community to fully take part in the mission and pastoral life of the Parish. Thus the Council will ensure that the Parish continues to run effectively in the absence of the Parish Priest.

Apart from the Parish Priest, Councillors are elected by parishioners to serve for three years. The current members: Frank Maltby (Chairman) ,Terry Burgess (Deputy Chairman), John Kearns (Secretary), Francis Antony, Louisa Craig, Aidan Garvey, Derek Hargrave, Lottie Jekiel,   Debbie Round, Moira Shrimpton, Krystyna Tomczak, and Father Alban.
